At My Life Nurse, we take your privacy concerns seriously. We are committed to keeping your personal information private. Because our website includes areas in which individuals can provide personal information, we have developed the My Life Nurse (MLN) policy (the “Privacy Policy”) to inform you of our policies and practices regarding information we collect about you on our website.

This Privacy Policy applies to My Life Nurse and all its affiliate companies. This Privacy Policy explains how we handle your personal information collected via our website or entered by you in connection with your use of our website. HOW WE COLLECT AND USE INFORMATION

We may collect and store personal or other information that you voluntarily supply to us online while using the Mylifenurse.com (e.g., while on the MLN site or in responding via email to a feature provided on the MLN site). My Life Nurse only contacts individuals who specifically request that we do so or in the event that they have signed up to receive our free newsletters or have purchased one of our products.

MLN collects personally identifying information from our users during online registration and online purchasing. Generally, this information includes a name and email address for registration to receive our free newsletters and name, postal address, and credit card information when purchasing our products. All of this information is provided to us by you.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction, verify your credit card, place an order, arrange for a delivery or return a purchase, we imply that you consent to our collecting it and using it for that specific reason only.

If we ask for your personal information for a secondary reason, like marketing, we will either ask you directly for your expressed consent or provide you with an opportunity to say no and/or opt-out.

We also collect and store information that is generated automatically as you navigate online through the MLN site. COMMENTS

When visitors leave comments on the MLN site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.

An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. You can find the Gravatar service privacy policy here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture is visible to the public in the context of your comment.

MEDIA

If you upload images to the website, you should avoid uploading images with embedded location data (EXIF GPS) included. Visitors to the website can download and extract any location data from images on the website.

EMBEDDED CONTENT FROM OTHER SITES

Articles on this MLN site may include embedded content (e.g. videos, images, articles, etc.). Embedded content from other websites behaves in the exact same way as if the visitor has visited the other website.

These websites may collect data about you, use cookies, embed additional third-party tracking, and monitor your interaction with that embedded content, including tracking your interaction with the embedded content if you have an account and are logged in to that websites.

HOW LONG WE RETAIN YOUR DATA

If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata are retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue.

My Life Nurse uses your personal information obtained via our websites in the following ways:

To provide you with information about My Life Nurse. To contact you in response to any requests, questions, complaints, or comments you may have made about My Life Nurse on our website.

We only share your Personal Information with third parties that help us use your personal information, as described above.  For example, we use Mailerlite as our email service provider to send our communication to our email subscribers.

My Life Nurse also will disclose your personal information when necessary to comply with applicable laws, rules or regulations, when you have expressly consented to such disclosure, or when necessary to preserve My Life Nurse’s legal rights in the MLN site’s content.

UPDATING OR DELETING PERSONAL INFORMATION

You may request My Life Nurse to update your personal information collected via the MLN site or delete personal information previously transmitted by you to My Life Nurse via the MLN site. You should be aware that it may not be technologically possible to remove or verify each and every record of the information you have provided to us from our system. The need to back-up our systems to protect information from inadvertent loss means that a copy of your personal information may exist in archived systems.

However, promptly after receiving your request, all personal information stored in databases we actively use and other readily searchable media will be updated, corrected, changed, deleted or confirmed to you, as appropriate, as soon as reasonably practicable. My Life Nurse will take all commercially reasonable steps to remove any personal information stored on our systems if you so request. My Life Nurse (MLN) is a place for you to find wellness, hope, encouragement and to find your God-given gifts and purpose. My goal at My Life Nurse is to provide education and tools to help people grow their Christian faith and take better care of themselves and families. I cover topics such as saving time & money, maintaining wellness, managing disease (with self-care), self-care as worship, and caregiver support (finding facilities or in-home care) among others. It also serves as a platform for others to join the conversation, share their testimony and encourage others. Therefore, any negative comments or profanity will be removed.
